Abstract authors do not need to be a HOPA member in order to be considered for a completed poster presentation at the HOPA Annual Conference. However, the presenting author must be a HOPA member and must also be the principal or co-principal investigator of the research in order to be considered for a platform presentation. Please see definitions below.
Research presented at other professional meetings will be considered for “Encore” presentations. Encore presentations are not eligible for HOPA abstract/poster awards, Late-Breaking research or platform presentation of their work.
Industry Supported Abstracts are eligible for presentation at the HOPA Annual Conference as Completed Research, Late-Breaking Research, and “Encore” Research. The presenting author for industry sponsored abstracts must be a HOPA member. An industry employee may not present research at the HOPA Annual Conference unless they acted as a primary investigator on the project. All financial interests and commercial or federal funded research must be disclosed upon submission.
