Member Categories

Full members are pharmacy clinicians, educators, and researchers who are involved in or who support hematology/oncology pharmacy practice. Full members can vote and serve as elected HOPA officers.

$175 for 1 year

$315 for 2 years

Resident/Fellow members (Trainee) are those participating in a postdoctoral educational program (ie, residency or fellowship) in hematology/oncology pharmacy practice or research. Resident/Fellow members may vote, but are they may not serve as an elected member of the Board of Directors. *Please note: Resident/Fellow members must renew as full members once they have completed their residency or fellowship training.

$60 for 1 year

$108 for 2 years

Student members are those enrolled in an accredited school or college of pharmacy who are progressing toward a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Student members cannot vote or serve as elected HOPA officers. **Please note: Student members must renew as full members once they have earned their degree. If you would like to change your member category (for example from Resident/Fellow to Full) or change your membership cycle, please contact member services at 877.467.2791.

Free for 1 year

Associate members are allied healthcare professionals who are involved in or who support hematology/oncology pharmacy practice. Associate members cannot vote or serve as elected HOPA officers.

$175 for 1 year

$315 for 2 years

Technician members are those certified as or working as technicians and are involved in hematology/oncology pharmacy practice. Technician members can vote and serve as elected HOPA officers.

Members will be eligible for Emeritus Membership at age 65 (or older), fully retired and have been a member of HOPA in good standing for at least ten years. HOPA Members who are permanently disabled and fully retired are eligible for Emeritus Membership if they have been a member of HOPA in good standing for at least one year. Emeritus Members are eligible to vote but cannot run for office or serve on the Board of Directors. They are not required to pay annual dues.

As part of HOPA’s efforts to expand its mission and membership involvement outside of the U.S., we're now offering all the benefits of membership at reduced rates to individuals living in countries with low, lower middle-income, and upper middle income economies as classified by the World Bank.

Members residing in countries designated as low income will be eligible for a 92 percent reduction on membership dues. Members residing in countries designated as lower middle-income economies will be eligible for an 80 percent reduction on membership dues. Members residing in countries designated as upper middle-income economies will be eligible for a 35 percent reduction on membership dues.

Full and Associate members residing in low, lower middle-income, and upper middle income economies are eligible for the discount. The cost of membership based on income classification is listed below:

Low Income

1 year: $14.00 2 year: $25.00

Lower Middle Income

1 year: $35.00 2 year: $63.00

Upper Middle Income

1 year: $115.00 2 year: $208.00
