Nominate a Leader for the HOPA Board of Directors

Help shape the future of HOPA by nominating a qualified member to serve on the Board of Directors. If you know someone who has demonstrated leadership, dedication, and a passion for advancing HOPA's mission, we encourage you to submit a nomination.

Open Board Positions

Nominations are currently being accepted for the following positions:

  • President-Elect – Three-year leadership commitment, serving one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Past President.*
  • Secretary – Three-year term.
  • At-Large Director – Three-year term.

Nominations are now open through September 1, 2026.

Eligibility

Who can be nominated?
Full and Technician Members are eligible to be nominated for the HOPA Board of Directors.

Who can submit a nomination?
Full, Technician, Trainee, and Emeritus Members are encouraged to nominate qualified candidates.

*Candidates for the President-Elect position must have previous or current experience serving on the HOPA Board of Directors.

About HOPA Elections

Each year, HOPA members elect the association's new leadership who will provide crucial guidance in reaching HOPA's strategic goals. Submitting your vote will directly impact the direction of HOPA as a leading voice for hematology/oncology pharmacy for years to come.

HOPA Board of Directors Election Calendar

  • Nominations Open: Aug. 1 - Sept. 1
  • Completed Applications Due: Sept. 12
  • Committee Review: September-October
  • Candidate Notifications: October
  • Election: Nov. 2 - Dec. 2
  • New Board Members begin their Term - April 2027
