Why Run for A Board Position?

The better question might be, why not? The rewards of serving HOPA as an elected official can be described in many ways. There is the personal satisfaction of helping HOPA foster change within the field of hematology/oncology pharmacy; advocating for patients with cancer in a multitude of ways; and the gratification that comes from supporting HOPA's mission and vision.
