Early Career Research Grant
The Early Career Research Grant (ECRG) provides funding to promising investigators early in their careers to encourage and promote pharmacist-led oncology research.
The ECRG will award up to $50,000 to one or two chosen applicants through a competitive peer-review process.
Applicant Criteria
- U.S.-based pharmacists who have completed their formal post-graduate training within the past seven years
- PI must not have attained R21 (NIH Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant Award) level funding
- PI is required to work with a mentor, who may be from their sponsoring institution or another institution in the U.S.
- Both PI and mentor must be active HOPA members in good standing
How To Apply
Those interested in applying for the HOPA Early Career Research Grant must submit a full application. (A Letter of Intent is not requested as part of the application process.)
