The Call for Annual Conference 2027 Presenters is Now Open!

HOPA is now accepting session proposals for HOPA Annual Conference 2027 (HOPA 2027), hosted March 31-April 2 in St. Louis, Missouri.

The planning Committees invite submissions that reflect timely issues, emerging science, and practical strategies across hematology, oncology, practice management, and more.

The call is now open through July 15, 2026.

General Sessions

General sessions are ACPE-accredited and are usually 30, 60, or 75 minutes in duration. Some topics may also be appropriate for a longer workshop (2-4 hours). Interactive formats, such as panels, debates, and roundtables, are highly encouraged. Audience engagement is valued, and submissions should indicate their preferred format and session length.

This year's call includes two types of proposals: general topics within defined topic areas and proposals for specific topics suggested by the Committee. The topics below include the preferred session format (if other than didactic) in italics, but they are recommendations only.

  • Pharmacogenomics
  • Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Adolescent and Young Adult Hematology/Oncology
  • Malignant Hematology
  • Classical Hematology
  • Solid Tumor Oncology
  • Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular Therapies
  • Reviews and Updates in Rare Solid and Hematologic Malignancies
  • Adverse Effect Management & Supportive Care (Panel, Including Patient)
  • Residency Program Development Strategies (Roundtable)
  • Wellness/Burnout and Workforce Retention (Panel or Roundtable)
  • Emerging Role of NGS-Based MRD in Therapeutic Management of Blood Cancers (Panel or Debate)
  • Pretreatment DPYD Testing (Panel, Including Patient)
  • Emerging Role of ctDNA in the Management of Solid Tumors (Panel or Debate)
  • Career & Leadership Development in Oncology Pharmacy (Panel with Speakers from Different Career Stages)
  • Community/Ambulatory Center Collaboration Supporting Access to Care (Panel)
  • Optimizing Pharmacy Workflows, Automation, and Resource Utilization
  • Transforming Pharmacy Services Through Technology, Data, and Digital Innovation (Panel)
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance, Financial Stewardship, and Audit Readiness
  • Advancing Medication Safety, Quality Assurance, and High-Reliability Practices
  • Promoting Pharmacist-Led, Patient-Centered, Equitable Care Across the Continuum
  • Leading Change, Governance, and Resilience in Complex Healthcare Systems (Panel)
  • Other

BCOP Sessions

BCOP sessions are BPS-accredited, typically 60-75 minutes, and are encouraged to be application-based. Interactive sessions, such as panels, debates, and roundtables, are highly encouraged. Audience interaction is encouraged, and we welcome any format that is logistically feasible for any topic.

The topics below include the potential session format (if other than didactic) in italics, but they are recommendations only.

Potential BCOP session topics include:

  • Treatments of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (Panel)
  • Clinical Controversies in AML in Adults and Pediatrics (Debate)
  • Operational and Financial Considerations of Anti-Cancer Infusions (Workshop or Panel)
  • Updates and Controversies in Prostate Cancer Treatment (Debate)
  • AI in Oncology Practice (Workshop or Panel)
  • Precepting and Teaching Oncology Trainees (Panel)
  • Supportive Care and Survivorship in Women's Health (Panel - inclusion of a patient panelist encouraged)
  • Other

All proposals must be finalized and submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. CT on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
