Apply to Be a BCOP Updates or Self-Study Presenter!

HOPA has two exciting opportunities to share knowledge and engage your peers on recent updates, new developments, and cutting-edge findings in the world of hematology/oncology pharmacy: Become a BCOP Updates or BCOP Self-Study presenter!

The call is now open for presenting topics in HOPA's BCOP Updates and BCOP Self-Study materials for 2027. Both calls will close on July 31, 2026.


BCOP Self-Study 2027

HOPA is collecting proposals for our online BCOP Self-Study 2027 on-demand course. BCOP-accredited modules are usually 2.5 CE credits and include an outline with relevant background information, selection of 3-4 clinically relevant published articles, ACPE/BCOP questions, and a Case Study.

BCOP authors must be board certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) and hold a BCOP Certification, have clinical experience in the subject, and be an active HOPA member.

Session Topics (2.5 hours)

  • Adult sarcomas
  • Triple negative breast cancer
  • Treatment of early-stage colorectal cancer
  • Updates and targeted therapy in leukemias (menin inhibitors, etc, including pediatrics)
  • Lymphoma (mantle cell, bite combos for DLBCL)
  • Multiple myeloma (bite combinations)
  • Pediatric brain tumors
  • Use of immunotherapy in head and neck
  • Updates in management of skin cancers
  • Other

BCOP Updates 2027

HOPA is collecting proposals for our online BCOP Updates 2027 on-demand course. BCOP-accredited presentations are usually 1-1.5 CE credits and include an outline, PowerPoint slide deck with recorded narration, and ACPE/BCOP questions.

BCOP authors must be board certified by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) and hold a BCOP Certification, have clinical experience in the subject, and be an active HOPA member.

Session Topics (1-1.5 hours)

  • Toxicity management of antibody drug conjugates (Panel Preferred)*
  • GU Cancers - bladder cancer
  • GynOnc Cancers - platinum resistant ovarian cancer, low grade serious ovarian cancer
  • Herbal supplements and interactions with oncology drugs (Panel Preferred)*
  • Management of drug-induced interstitial lung disease
  • Pharmacogenomics - implementation, public health, debate/panel, multiple cancer types (Panel Preferred)*
  • Opportunistic infections after stem cell transplant
  • RAS inhibitors in the treatment of solid tumors
  • Supportive Care - management of dermatologic toxicities associated with targeted therapies (Panel Preferred)*
  • Compassionate Use Processes (e.g., IND Process, right-to-try)
  • Other

*Panel Preferred indicates a topic that would benefit from a panel of authors with varied perspectives, including differences in experience level, work setting, area of expertise, and professional background.
