Precision Oncology Initiative Task Force
HOPA is looking for subject matter experts to join the Precision Oncology Initiative Task Force. The purpose of the Precision Oncology Initiative Task Force is to advance the education, training, and resource development for oncology pharmacists in the evolving field of precision oncology.
Composed of precision oncology subject matter experts, this Task Force will play a key role in determining, creating, and implementing educational initiatives that enhance the knowledge and competency of oncology pharmacists in precision medicine. Additionally, the Task Force will organize and execute a Precision Oncology Summit and develop sustainable tools and resources that extend the impact of the initiative beyond the Summit.

The Task Force will operate over a 3-year period, with members contributing an average of 3 hours per month toward the following key responsibilities:
- Develop educational programming around precision oncology
- Plan and execute a Precision Oncology Summit
- Create practical tools, guidelines, and resources for clinical use
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and partners to broaden the initiative's reach
- Evaluate impact and plan for the sustainability of educational efforts
The Task Force will kick off in June 2025 and will serve until the initiative's work is complete.
Who we're looking for
- Oncology pharmacists with experience in precision medicine, including biomarker testing and targeted therapies
- Members passionate about advancing pharmacist-led care through education and innovation
- Professionals interested in collaboration, leadership, and long-term impact on pharmacy practice
