Represent HOPA in the Core Quality Measures Collaborative
Apply for this exciting volunteer opportunity by Dec. 19!
HOPA is part of the Core Quality Measures Collaborative (CQMC), a broad-based coalition of healthcare leaders working to facilitate cross-payer measure alignment through the development of core sets of measures to assess the quality of healthcare in the United States.
With increased reliance on performance measures as part of value-based payment models, the CQMC aims to:
- Identify high-value, high-impact, evidence-based measures that promote better patient outcomes, and provide useful information for improvement, decision-making, and payment
- Align measures across public and private payers to achieve congruence in the measures being used for quality improvement, transparency, and payment purposes
- Reduce the burden of measurement by eliminating low-value metrics, redundancies, and inconsistencies in measure specifications and quality measure reporting requirements across payers
As a member of CQMC, HOPA is invited to appoint a non-voting representative who will be invited to participate in all CQMC meetings and discussion.
This is where you come in!
We are looking for a member with expertise in measurement development and participating in consensus-based groups to represent HOPA. Your expertise will be used to provide feedback and recommendations to the Medical Oncology Core Set and attend virtual meetings related to the Medical Oncology Core Set. As part of your responsibility as a HOPA representative, you will be asked to submit a short report at the end of each year, sharing feedback on the volunteer opportunity.
The term of this appointment is two years.
Please complete the application and submit your CV and a short statement of interest. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 19.
