New Showcase Puts PGY1 Pharmacy Residents on the Path to Oncology

As the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA), we believe everyone undergoing cancer treatment should have an oncology pharmacist as an integral part of their care team. To fulfill that vision, we need to build awareness of the profession and make connections with PGY1 Residents. HOPA Pathways does both.

All Current PGY1 Residents are Invited to the HOPA Pathways Virtual Showcase!

Looking to connect with and hear from PGY2 residency programs - without the hassle of travel and costs? Attend the free inaugural HOPA Pathways Virtual Showcase, taking place virtually on Thursday, November 13, from 12-4 p.m. CT.

This virtual showcase will offer the opportunity to meet with programs across the country to hear about their residency's offerings - all for free! The event will begin with open house program presentations and Q&A sessions from 12-2 p.m. CT, before moving to 20-minute one-on-one scheduled meetings with programs of interest from 2-4 p.m. CT.

This particular HOPA Pathways event is designed specifically for PGY1 residents interested in pharmacy residency program areas of:

  • Oncology (including pediatric oncology)
  • Investigational Drugs and Research
  • Pain Management and Palliative Care

This event is designed to be accessible and inclusive for candidates of all backgrounds and experience levels - a rotation in oncology, pain, or IDR is not required.
