"My friends and colleagues in HOPA, I'm honored to have been slated for the position of At-Large Board Member.

"Oncology pharmacists are essential to cancer care delivery. From the clinical pharmacist at the bedside to the infusion pharmacist verifying chemotherapy orders to the research pharmacists reviewing trial protocols and industry pharmacists in drug development, our medication expertise is unmatched and irreplaceable. And HOPA is the premier organization where we find community as hem/onc pharmacists, share knowledge, and advance care for cancer patients. I'm passionately committed to our mission to support pharmacy practitioners and promote and advance hematology/oncology pharmacy to optimize the care of individuals affected by cancer. Let's build on our successful foundation of outreach and coalition to grow recognition of the breadth and depth of oncology pharmacist knowledge!

"Through my leadership within HOPA, my service with other pharmacy organizations, and my varied career journey, I'm confident that I possess the expertise to serve as a capable member of the HOPA Board of Directors and advocate for our membership. I've been a part of HOPA's Public Policy Committee for ten years, leading working groups, lobbying at Hill Days, and serving twice as Vice Chair. I've also led in other pharmacy organizations, including ASHP and state and local groups, even serving as a board member with the Northern Illinois Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

"After graduating from UNC and completing two years of residency, I began my career in academia, taking a faculty position with a clinic appointment at Rush University Medical Center, where I established an oral chemotherapy clinic and outpatient clinical services. Later, I transitioned to industry, first as an MSL then as field medical trainer. Now I work at the intersection of precision medicine and technology, leading clinical development of digital products in oncology and pharmacogenomics for Labcorp. I remain grounded in patient care, staffing PRN at Siteman Cancer Center. With experience spanning clinical pharmacy, industry, and infusion, as a board member, I would seek to represent the myriad voices of HOPA.

"HOPA's strategic plan was crafted with great care and with attention to the needs of the pharmacy profession today and in the future. If entrusted as Board Member At-Large, I am committed to fulfilling the promise of this strategic plan. All five pillars - Education, Professional Practice, Research & Quality, Advocacy & Awareness, and Organizational Excellence - are integral to supporting HOPA's vision of promoting and advancing hematology/oncology pharmacy to optimize the care of individuals affected by cancer. My platform will prioritize Advocacy and Organizational Excellence. I'll continue to build coalitions to expand the national prominence of our organization and our efficacy in changing treatment paradigms. Within the organization I want to engage the full breadth of our membership, allowing all of us to learn from one another.

"I love being a part of HOPA, and I would love the opportunity to serve as At-Large Board Member, so I can bring my enthusiasm for oncology pharmacy to engage our membership, to advance policies, and to better care for our patients. Thank you."
