The common and more serious adverse events will be reviewed. A mention of patient counseling for post-radiopharmaceutical management and monitoring will be reviewed for all current FDA-approved radiopharmaceuticals. Focus on the multidisciplinary approach to the management of these patients will be discussed. Finally, the presentation will review the role of the pharmacist in the care of patients undergoing a combination of systemic therapy and radiation therapy with a focus on outcomes and management of radiation-specific toxicities, especially in the metastatic disease setting.
