Sol Atienza, PharmD, BCOP is the Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Specialist for inpatient oncology since August 1994 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. She is also a Resident Program Director of PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency Program at Aurora Health Care.

She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She then completed her Oncology Pharmacy Residency at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.

She has been involved in a variety of activities within HOPA including working on the "A Value of Cancer Care Forum: A Pharmacy's Call to Action" as co-chair, moderating the Critical Conversation on: Navigating Drug Shortages and Empowering Oncology Pharmacists, speaker at various annual conferences, peer reviewer of JHOP, and committee member on various HOPA committees. She was also in the first group to take the board exam for the Oncology Specialty in 1998 and then was a member of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Oncology Council that oversees the oncology board exam.
