Sandra Zori Portrait
1st Year on Panel - 2nd Term Sandra Zori

Sandra Zori is a Canadian that lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Zora lives with her husband, two daughters, and their two dogs. She graduated with her PharmD in 2009 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and spent her career as a community pharmacist. She was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer when she was 34 years old, and have gone through numerous treatments (IV chemo, double mastectomy, radiation, oral chemo, and immunotherapy). This diagnosis prompted her to consider expanding her knowledge and career goals, and she is currently finishing up a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering program. Her hope is to work in industry or research to provide better treatment options for women facing breast cancer, especially women who are diagnosed under 40 years old.

For fun, Zori enjoys either binge-watching TV or reading. (She cycles between the two until she gets burned out from one.) She likes to workout outside and spend time at the pool. She is a swim official for the YMCA as her daughters are competitive swimmers. She loves Christmas and Halloween, and is always down to grab a bite to eat (especially dessert).
