HOPA is requesting volunteers to contribute subject matter expertise to the Time to Talk: Diversity in Clinical Trials campaign. In 2025, we are expanding patient and caregiver resources to include the following:

  • Disparities in cervical cancer diagnosis and outcomes (especially among Latina and Black women)
  • Disparities in liver cancer diagnosis and outcomes (especially among Asian American and Pacific Islander communities)
  • Disparities in colorectal cancer diagnosis and outcomes (especially rising in younger adults and Black and Native American communities)

We are looking for volunteers to help draft content for a 1-page resource that is relevant to patients, caregivers, and the community. The goal is to help bridge the knowledge gap surrounding social determinants of health in cancer care and clinical trial participation.

We are asking volunteers to draft the relevant healthcare information for patients and caregivers. HOPA staff will work with CMRignite, our multicultural advertising partner, to ensure the information you provide is clear, culturally sensitive, and inclusive.

Whether you can offer clinical insights to the content itself, review content for clarity, or help shape key messaging, your contribution will play a vital role in expanding this campaign.

Please email partnerships@hoparx.org by Friday, May 23 if you are interested in contributing to this campaign. We'll follow up with additional details, including next steps and timeline.

Thank you for your commitment to improving patient care and advancing access in cancer research!
