HOPA invites you to submit your research abstracts to present in the following topics at our 17th Annual Conference online.
Please note the following submission dates:

• Call for Completed and Encore Research closes: October 26, 2020 at 11:59 pm CST
• Call for Late Breaking Research opens: November 16, 2020
• Call for Late Breaking Research closes: December 14, 2020 at 11:59 pm CST
• Call for Trainee Research opens: November 23, 2020
• Call for Trainee Research closes: January 25, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST
• Deadline to submit posters for Trainee Award consideration: March 5, 2021 at 11:59 pm CST
• Deadline for all posters: March 28, 2021 at 11:59 pm CDT

HOPA will use the information provided in conference materials so please ensure that author names, credentials, and titles, are written accurately. Degrees and certifications provided will only be included in published material. Selected completed research abstracts will be published in the Journal of Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy (JHOP), HOPA's official peer-reviewed forum for oncology pharmacy practice.
Final posters for selected research abstracts are required to be submitted prior to the Annual Conference for viewing of attendees. The deadline for ePosters is set typically two weeks prior to the Annual Conference. Authorship
ePosters
An electronic poster (ePoster) is an electronic submission of the poster presented at the annual meeting. Authors will create an ePoster according to the guidelines of acceptance and upload the final version to a specified website for reviewing. Final ePosters will be due approximately 4 weeks prior to the meeting to allow time for off-site review. Further details and information will be communicated with the accepted presenter regarding the electronic poster process upon notification of abstract acceptance. See examples of ePosters here.
Responsibility for Expenses
The HOPA Annual Conference gives hematology/oncology pharmacy professionals the opportunity to present their work within an atmosphere of support by peers and national leaders. Presenters must register for at least the day on which they are scheduled to present. Only those presenters (or representatives) committed to attending the conference may submit an abstract. Presenters are responsible for all expenses such as travel, hotel, and meeting registration fees.
Avoidance of Commercialism
All presentations must avoid commercialism. Presentations that constitute promotion and advertising (including the use of logos) will not be considered. If the cost of any presentation has been underwritten to any extent, a clear acknowledgment stating the support, identifying the source, and describing the methods for keeping the content unbiased should be included. Advertising material that in any way promotes the commercial interest of a particular company, enterprise, or the author(s) may not be distributed or displayed. Statements made in the presentation are the sole responsibility of the author and are not viewed as, or considered representative of, any formal position taken on any product, subject, issue or by HOPA.
Research that has been studied, tested, and has results and conclusions available for presentation.
Incomplete at the deadline, but now is able to be presented with results and conclusions.
Previously presented elsewhere, prior to it being presented at the HOPA annual meeting.
A student, resident, or fellow, must be the primary author of the abstract being submitted.
