Participants will also learn how to identify potential leaders, plan for transitions of leadership, and describe various resources used to prepare for a leadership role.

Dina Dumercy McHenry, PharmD BCOP BCPS
Director of Pharmacy at the Miami Cancer Institute of Baptist Health South Florida
Dr. Dumercy McHenry is currently the Director of Pharmacy at the Miami Cancer Institute of Baptist Health South Florida. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Florida A & M University, College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/ FAMU in Miami, Florida. After her residency she completed an ASHP Oncology Patient Care Traineeship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is dually Board Certified in Oncology Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapy.
Dr. Dumercy McHenry has over 15 years of experience practicing in Hematology Oncology in a variety of settings including roles as a clinical specialist, clinical coordinator, pharmacy informatics analyst, and clinical manager. She currently serves as the co-chair of the MCI Oncology P&T Committee, and is a former program director for a post graduate year 2(PGY2) Oncology Pharmacy residency who achieved ASHP accreditation within that programs first year. She is an active member of several professional and civic organizations including Hematology Oncology Pharmacist Association (HOPA), Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO) Board of Directors, and Southeast Florida Society of Health-system Pharmacy (SEASHP) at the local and national level. She has a passion for educating patients and caregivers about cancer treatment, patient safety and increasing cancer awareness.

The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
