Kellie L. Jones, PharmD BCOP

Kellie L. Jones, PharmD BCOP is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University College of Pharmacy. Her primary area of focus is in field of oncology and her clinical practice site is at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is involved in didactic teaching, and precepting pharmacy students and residents. Her primary areas of interest include breast and gynecologic cancers, supportive care therapies, pain management, patient education, and complementary and alternative medicines.

Dr. Jones completed her doctor of pharmacy degree, pharmacy practice and oncology specialty residency at the University of Kentucky and is oncology board certified. Currently she serves as the HOPA Secretary and the Program Committee board liaison.

Her interest in oncology as with many people who work in the field stemmed from close family members affected by cancer. During her last year of therapeutics class at UK, Val Adams also sparked her interest in the field. These two factors helped propel Dr. Jones into a career in oncology.
