Call for Poster Abstracts is Open for the 2011 Annual Conference
HOPA will now accept research poster abstracts for consideration for the HOPA 2011 Annual Conference. Below you will find two options for submitting an abstract depending upon whether you are a Practitioner or a Trainee (resident, student or fellow). You must be a HOPA member to submit an abstract. At least one author must register for the 2011 Annual Conference and be present at the poster sessions.
PRACTITIONER RESEARCH ABSTRACTS
Deadline for submission: Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:59 PM (PST): Abstracts must describe completed research (ie, must contain results and conclusions). All accepted Practitioner abstracts will be published in an issue of the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice. Posters will be judged at the conference. The top four abstracts may be selected to present a Platform Presentation at the conference. Apply here.
TRAINEES: Research in Progress
Deadline for submission: Monday, January 15, 2011 at 11:59 PM (PST): Trainee (resident, fellow, student) research in progress should be for ongoing research. All that will be required is title and objectives of study. Only current trainees may use this deadline. Trainees are encouraged to use the October 4, 2010 deadline if their completed research (results & conclusions) is available at that time. All Trainee research project titles will be printed in the HOPA 2011 Annual Conference Program Book. Apply here.
